Our growing interactive agency in uptown Charlotte is seeking a full/part-time in-house Web Developer. This talented Web Developer will work collaboratively with our close-knit team of graphic designers, coders, and clients to define and execute all aspects of interactive development.
As a Lead Web Developer you are expected to have expert knowledge of XHTML, CSS and JavaScript and constantly crave seeking out the latest in coding technologies.
You should also be capable of helping other team members with problems that need solutions, and managing both personal and small team projects. You should be an individual with strong communication skills and desire to interact with both clients and team members in a consistently positive manner.
Skills To Pay The Bills:
- 3-5 years experience in creating XHTML templates with associated CSS
- Working knowledge in JavaScript (jQuery, AJAX, etc)
- Ability to interpret and analyze existing code base
- Work in both custom and open source CMS platforms
- Accurately interpret wireframes, ensuring adherence in website creation
- Solid understanding of SEO and practices to maximize on-page optimization
- Ensure “pixel perfect” interpretation of Photoshop files to web pages.
- Pay special attention to detail and conduct QA testing prior to pushing code live
- Maintain project timelines and meet deadlines
Desired Skills:
- Creative with HTML5, CSS3
- Experience in developing mobile websites and apps
- Experience in building and integrating e-commerce sites
- GIS Mapping / Flex application development
- Experience in developing mobile websites
- Familiar working with Flash and After Effects
- Experience working with open source platforms such as Wordpress and Joomla
