Our growing interactive agency in uptown Charlotte is seeking a full-time/ part-time in-house Project Manager. This organized individual will work collaboratively with our close-knit team of graphic designers, coders, and clients to lead us in the execution of projects from concept to completion, with a focus on managing customer satisfaction, resource planning and overall profitability.
As a Project Manager you are expected to lead one or more client projects through all aspects of the development lifecycle, helping to create a defined development workflow including requirements analysis, application design/development, resource planning, project planning, and scheduling.
You should be capable of helping other team members with problems that need solutions, and managing both personal and small team projects. You should be an individual with strong communication skills and desire to interact with both clients and team members in a consistently positive manner.
Skills To Pay The Bills:
- Manages a portfolio of projects with focus on client satisfaction, schedule, budget, invoicing and functional solutions
- Oversees the development and tracking of project plans
- Sets and meets project milestones
- Establishes and maintains project communications with client and team
- Maintains and manages project budgets and scope
- Participates in weekly resource planning meetings in order to effectively allocate resources to the project
- Leads teams of 5-7 members
- Helps managing client relationships, expectations, and feedback
- Assist with the creation of project proposals and Statements of Work and ensure alignment of budgets and schedules with project proposals by reviewing proposals authored by AEs and confirming hours
- Documents or manages documentation of the project
- Authors scope changes
Desired Skills:
- 3+ years experience as a Project Manager preferably in an interactive agency environment.
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong knowledge of Basecamp and MS Excel
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong with web-based application project management and QA Testing
- Strong technical expertise
- Experience working in custom or open source content management systems
- IA experience and social network applications experience, are a big plus
