Our growing interactive agency, Atypic, in uptown Charlotte is seeking a full-time Interactive Marketing Manager. At Atypic, our Marketing Manager is responsible for developing digital marketing communication strategies that build brand awareness, brand engagement, and drive customer traffic to our clients.
This individual will develop and manage the interactive/digital marketing plans for our clients including customer experience, content, promotions, back-end functionality, online advertising, lead generation, SEO, SEM and social media.
This organized individual will work collaboratively with our close-knit team of graphic designers, coders, and clients to lead us in the execution of projects from concept to completion, with a focus on managing customer satisfaction, resource planning and overall profitability.
Skills To Pay The Bills:
The appropriate individual for the Interactive Marketing Manager role would have the following skills/experience:
- Initiate, develop and direct the Interactive Marketing strategy and plan that drives traffic, revenue and builds brand awareness
- Leadership of all client websites including site development, content development, enhancements, vetting requirements for new features on the sites
- Create and execute online marketing campaigns in the following areas: SEM, SEO, display advertising, rich media, social media and other emerging internet marketing trends or technologies
- Manage online advertising and search campaigns in support of brand initiatives
- Develops key metrics for programs, analyzes web and campaign performance and shares results to senior level management or client
- Initiate, develop and direct the execution of interactive marketing promotions and initiatives that will drive traffic, sales and profitability
- Ensure proper marketing decisions are made through ongoing optimization of programs
- Lead agency brainstorm and strategy sessions
- Actively manage budgets to meet internal and client profitability goals
- Ensure work adheres to strategic direction of client
- High client interaction – manage internal and external client expectations
- Lead client meetings, including presentation of new creative work, strategic POVs, and analytical reports
- Assess opportunities and competitive activities for clients
- Implement industry best practices and share digital trends with clients
- Manages customer relationships and delivers periodic performance as well as project updates
- Execute tactical campaign management operations
- Support in developing and updating financial forecasts for Atypic
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of PPC marketing
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and deployment
- Manage CPC recommendations
- Experience with keyword search, ranking and analysis tools
- Familiarity with online SEO resources, tools, blogs, forums and professional organizations
- Strong with web-based application project management and QA Testing
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 4+ years experience working in digital marketing
- Experience with technical aspects of SEO from optimal site architecture to proper coding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
